This policy explains what personal data we collect through salinpoirierrealestate.com, why we collect it, who it is shared with and what rights you have. It applies to the Salin & Poirier brand, operated by Acheterpourlouer SAS.
1. Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is Acheterpourlouer SAS, 9 rue des Colonnes, 75002 Paris, France — SIREN 910745835, RCS Paris. For any question about your data, write to sebastien@salinpoirierrealestate.com.
2. What data we collect
- Consultation form: first and last name, email, country of residence, preferred language, type of project, budget range, region of interest, whether you have already invested in France, and your message.
- Property enquiry forms: name, email, phone or WhatsApp number (optional), preferred language, the property or unit you are interested in, the page you came from, and your message.
- Correspondence: the content of the emails, calls and WhatsApp messages you exchange with us.
We do not ask for sensitive data. Please do not include identity documents or bank details in a form.
3. Why we use it, and on what legal basis
- To answer your request and prepare a property search — steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR art. 6.1.b).
- To follow up on your project and send you relevant properties — our legitimate interest in serving clients and prospects (art. 6.1.f). You can ask us to stop at any time.
- To meet our legal obligations as a licensed real estate agent, in particular anti-money-laundering checks once a mandate is signed (art. 6.1.c).
4. Who receives your data
Your data is used only by the Salin & Poirier team. It is never sold or rented. It is processed by the service providers we rely on to run the website and our email:
- Netlify, Inc. (101 2nd Street, San Francisco, CA 94105, USA) — website hosting and form handling;
- Google (Google Workspace) — email;
- Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend Street, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA) — audience measurement (Cloudflare Web Analytics).
With your agreement, and only to move your project forward, we may share the necessary details with the professionals involved in a purchase: notaires, the seller’s agent, lenders or lawyers.
5. Transfers outside the European Union
Some of our providers are based in the United States, and part of our team works from outside the EU, notably from Hong Kong. These transfers are protected by the safeguards provided by the GDPR, such as the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses or, where applicable, the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.
6. How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not lead to a mandate: 3 years after our last contact.
- Client files: for the duration of our relationship, then 5 years, as required by anti-money-laundering rules.
- Form submissions stored in our hosting account are deleted regularly once they have reached our inbox.
7. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses no advertising or tracking cookies. To understand how the site is used, we rely on Cloudflare Web Analytics, a cookie-free measurement tool: it counts pages viewed, the referring site, the country and the type of device, without placing anything on your device, without identifying you and without following you across other websites. This measurement is based on our legitimate interest in improving the site (art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Your browser only stores your language choice, so that the site opens in the right language on your next visit. Fonts are hosted on our own server: no connection is made to third-party font services.
8. Your rights
You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, to receive it in a portable format, and to give instructions on what should happen to it after your death. Write to sebastien@salinpoirierrealestate.com; we answer within one month.
If you believe your rights are not respected, you can file a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (www.cnil.fr).
9. Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and access to your data is limited to the people who need it to handle your request.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
